• March 15 - 16, War Trails South. This year's Winter Trek will include participation at a timeline military event at Fort La Presentation, Ogdensburg, New York; a tavern night at Fort Cubbison, Pamelia, New York, and some hiking and a presentation at Fort Drum the following day.

• May 3 - 4, Howse Tactics School. At Appleby College; Oakville, Ontario. This event is a MUST for new recruits. It's an excellent chance to put the final touches on your training and work out bugs with your new equipment before the season gets underway.

• May 31 - June 1, Revolutionary War Weekend. at Lansing Manor; Grand Gorge, New York. We will be portraying Regulars and the women will do laundry.

• June 14 - 15, Fort Drum Heritage Center. Military History Timeline to commemorate the Centennial of Fort Drum; at Fort Drum Heritage Center, Fort Drum, New York.

• June 14 - 15, Black Creek Pioneer Village. Locals only this year; we want to support the Fort Drum event! At Black Creek Pioneer Village; Toronto, Ontario.

• July 19 - 20, Fort George. Living history at Fort George; Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. We will be portraying an advance guard - and hosting the tavern.

• August 18 - 21, The Trek. This year's trek will re-create the building and maintaining of a Ranger Camp in the face of the enemy—complete with some defences and some small comforts, and including a forced march and some hardship. But the emphasis will be on learning, and the location will be the now legendary Minerva Fords in Adirondack Park, New York.

• August 22 - 24, Bateau Weekend. At Battle of Plattsburgh Association Interpretive Center; Plattsburgh, New York. This is our opportunity to gain experience with the boats we will be using for the bateau trek in 2009.

• September 5 - 7, Revolutionary War Encampment. At Fort Ticonderoga; Ticonderoga, New York. This will be the last time we attend this one for a few years.

• October 18 - 19, Battle of the Hook. At Warner Hall; Gloucester, Virginia. We, along with other member units of the Northern Brigade, will be portraying the infantry of the British Legion. We have reserved a motor coach which will be leaving Watertown, New York, at 10:00 a.m. October 16, returning very early in the morning October 20. If you wish to join us on the coach, contact before September 15.

• November 1 - 2, Forestport Tactical. At Myers Hill; Forestport, New York.

The original Company of Select Marksmen was supposed to be 100 men strong. At the best of times it barely just made half that number. As a result membership in the organization is limited to about 50 men. Currently we have a small waiting list for members who wish to join us.
