This equipment list is designed to assist for event preparation. Indian Department and Company of Select Marksmen travel light and live completely out of the pack and haversack. The items on this list are the only things one needs for an event as each item has been thoroughly tested by veteran trekkers and reenactors over a period of many years. Indeed, it is easier and rather satisfying to experience living history without the camp boxes and other stuff and only to live out of the pack and off the efforts of the group.
